HAG operates according to the principle that every company has responsibilities above and beyond simply earning money. We have an obligation to preserve our common environment and display social accountability.

HAG's environmental philosophy is built on the understanding that the earth's resources are limited. We strive to continually reduce the total use of resources in accordance with knowledge of the cycles of nature. This manifests itself in our production methods, which raw materials and energy sources we use, and is documented in our certificates.

We have developed a long term sustainability program with annual plans of action to reach our environmental goals. HAG, as a corporate citizen, shall at all times provide users with the best possible sitting solutions having taken all considerations into account.

Sustainable = not taking more resources from the earth than she can renew and replenish herself.
